Through incorporating signifiers from roadside memorials, picnics, altars, backyard cook-outs, crime scenes, and most specifically, the Travyon Martin killing (Skittles, hoods, Arizona tea) , the installation creates a hybridized site of consumption, death, mourning, and ritual.
